Description

The Carver 48 Californian captures the romance of a classic motor yacht: a commanding presence, graceful lines, and the warmth of a beautifully finished live-aboard yacht. Her appeal goes beyond size. It is the character of her interior, the substance of her construction, and the sense that time aboard should be enjoyed without hurry. For those who appreciate traditional yacht styling and craftsmanship, the Californian remains a boat to admire—and one to imagine owning. Life aboard the 48 Californian unfolds across inviting spaces, each with its own appeal. Picture morning coffee on the spacious aft deck, an afternoon exploring from the elevated flybridge, and an evening sharing dinner with friends as the harbour settles around you. Wide side decks connect her exterior spaces, while her classic flush-deck profile gives her a distinctive, purposeful silhouette. Below, the comfortable layout invites you to unpack, settle in, and make yourself at home. From summers in the Thousand Islands to extended cruises south, she offers the space and atmosphere that make the journey as rewarding as the destination. “September Morn” brings that appeal to life with an exceptionally well-kept interior that deserves to be experienced in person. Owned since 2015 and having spent most of her life around Georgian Bay, she has a predominantly freshwater history, with approximately three years in saltwater enjoyed aboard down south. Her welcoming interior is complemented by cedar-lined hanging lockers, a washer/dryer, Seagull water filtration, and a new refrigerator—thoughtful comforts that make longer stays aboard feel natural. A three-burner electric stove and dedicated dinette provide a pleasant setting for everyday meals, while Caterpillar diesels, bow and stern thrusters, and a dinghy crane add practical cruising appeal. Whether you envision lively evenings with guests or a quiet anchorage shared by two, September Morn is a yacht that makes those plans feel wonderfully close. EXCEPTIONAL INTERIOR – CATERPILLAR DIESELS – FRESHWATER HISTORY – BOW & STERN THRUSTER - WASHER/DRYER – DINGHY CRANE - SEAGULL WATER FILTRATION – BATTERIES REPLACED IN 2025 +++
