2004 Grady-White Express 300

Twin 2017 Yamaha 300 HP Outboards | Approximately 400 Hours | Tuna Tower & Outriggers | Updated Garmin Electronics

The appeal of a well-equipped express fishing yacht is its versatility: the cockpit and equipment to make fishing the priority, a sheltered helm for longer days underway, and the comfort to stay aboard when the itinerary extends beyond the afternoon. This 2004 Grady-White 330 Express brings those qualities together with later-model Yamaha power, updated navigation electronics and a refreshed interior presentation.

Built on Grady-White’s SeaV²® hull, this 330 Express combines an offshore-oriented design with an arrangement equally suited to dedicated fishing trips and time away with family. Her tuna tower, outriggers and generous cockpit establish her fishing credentials, while the cabin, galley and enclosed head give owners the flexibility to enjoy longer coastal outings.

With twin 2017 Yamaha 300 HP four-stroke outboards, approximately 400 reported engine hours, and meaningful updates to the helm, flooring and upholstery, she offers buyers an opportunity to step into an established Grady-White design with several important upgrades already in place.

Later-Model Yamaha Power

The twin 2017 Yamaha outboards are a central part of this vessel’s appeal. Delivering a combined 600 horsepower, they bring substantially newer power to the 330 Express platform and provide a clear point of distinction when comparing her with original-powered examples.

For buyers considering a vessel of this age, the engines deserve as much attention as the model year on the hull. Here, the later-model four-stroke installation and approximately 400 reported hours are important elements of the overall package, particularly for an owner seeking a capable fishing vessel without first planning an engine replacement.

Equipped for Dedicated Fishing

A full tuna tower and outriggers give this Grady-White a purposeful profile and practical equipment for owners whose plans extend beyond casual fishing.

The tower provides an elevated vantage point for observing surface activity and the surrounding water, while the outriggers support a wider trolling spread. Below, the spacious cockpit provides room to work lines, handle gear and move around during an active day of fishing.

The express arrangement keeps the helm close to the cockpit, allowing the operator to remain connected with those fishing aft. Overhead, the hardtop provides shelter at the helm without separating the operating position from the activity on deck.

Whether the focus is salmon fishing along the coast or planning offshore tuna trips, this is a vessel whose equipment and layout put fishing at the centre of the ownership experience.

Updated Electronics & Navigation

The helm has been modernized with twin Garmin multifunction displays, supported by an integrated autopilot, VHF radio and AIS.

The dual-display configuration offers flexibility in how navigation information is presented, while the updated dash creates a cleaner, more organized operating position. Autopilot adds convenience during longer passages, with VHF and AIS supporting communications and situational awareness.

Together, these updates are a meaningful improvement to the onboard experience and an important consideration for buyers comparing vessels that retain older electronics.

Refreshed Finishes & Overnight Comfort

Ultradeck flooring and custom upholstery contribute to a more contemporary presentation, complementing the practical layout with a finish that feels considered and well suited to regular use.

Below, the clean, refreshed cabin provides a comfortable retreat from the cockpit. Overnight accommodations make it possible to extend a fishing trip or enjoy a weekend away, while the galley allows meals and refreshments to be prepared aboard. A separate enclosed head adds privacy and convenience for owners and guests.

These features broaden the vessel’s usefulness beyond fishing alone. An early departure, an overnight stop or a coastal weekend becomes easier to accommodate when the boat offers a place to prepare a meal, change out of weather gear and settle in at the end of the day.

A Well-Rounded West Coast Offering

This 330 Express will appeal to a buyer who values the fundamentals of a dedicated fishing platform but also wants a vessel that is welcoming and practical for family use.

Her appeal is in the combination: later-model Yamaha power, updated Garmin displays, a tuna tower and outriggers, refreshed finishes and genuine overnight capability. Rather than relying on a single feature, these elements work together to create a versatile package for an owner whose time on the water includes both fishing and coastal cruising.
