2004 Sea Ray 290 Amberjack
“ADMIRAL'S SMILE”
Description
2004 - Sea Ray Amberjack 290
Exceptional Fishing Capability. Offshore Confidence. Cruising Comfort.
If it is indeed true that three-fourths of the earth is covered with water, then it follows that the 290 Amberjack is Sea Ray's answer to the fervent prayers of both sportfishermen and cruising enthusiasts alike. If you are a person who likes to do both, so much the better, for this sport cruiser has the comfort and performance - not to mention twin 357 Mag Bravo4 (2020) and Bravo III stern drives - that will take you as far as you want to go.
This outstanding Sea Ray Amberjack 290 represents a rare opportunity to acquire a highly upgraded and meticulously maintained example of one of Sea Ray's most versatile express cruisers.
Purpose-built for owners who demand both serious fishing capability and comfortable cruising accommodations, the Amberjack series combines the amenities of a family cruiser with the functionality of a dedicated sportfishing platform. Unlike the more common Sundancer models, the Amberjack features a deeper-V hull design, increased beam, lower center of gravity, and additional displacement, delivering a noticeably more capable offshore ride and superior sea-keeping characteristics.
Extensively upgraded throughout its ownership, this vessel benefits from significant mechanical and electronic improvements, highlighted by twin MerCruiser 357 MAG Bravo4 engines installed new in 2020, modern navigation electronics, and a professionally integrated Yamaha trolling system. The result is a turnkey package ideally suited for Pacific Northwest cruising, salmon fishing, and extended weekends on the water.
