2006 Princess V65
“ENDLESS SUMMER”
Description
Owned and meticulously maintained by a seasoned multi-yacht owner who understands the value of preventative maintenance and purposeful upgrades, this Princess V65 is far more reliable and technologically current than its 2006 vintage suggests. The MAN engines have just completed their extensive A1 service — making this an ideal time to buy. Princess is renowned for their offshore ride quality and seakeeping, and this V65 Express is one of the most capable and rare configurations the brand has produced — a true bluewater boat still capable of head-turning performance, reaching speeds of 40mph impressive for a boat of this size and displacement.
The exterior and interior soft goods show like new — upholstery, sunpad, carpet, headliner, wall panels, and covers have all been replaced. Many of the age-related issues typically found on a 20-year-old boat of this size have been proactively addressed: YachtController, new air handlers and compressors, engine mounts, engine room insulation, new electronics, full LED lighting conversion, and a Starlink installation reflect the thinking of an experienced owner. The result is a boat that is ready for sale — not just cosmetically, but mechanically.

Cockpit & Exterior
The cockpit and salon sit on a single deck level, creating a seamless open-plan flow that is rare on express cruisers of this era. The open cockpit perimeter is easily accessed from the swim platform, and the boat carries a 12' outboard-powered tender in a dedicated garage — outboard tenders rarely fit in a garage at this size, a practical advantage over the jet tenders most boats in this class are forced to use. The cockpit features opposing seating with a folding table and a fully appointed wet bar complete with icemaker, grill, sink, and refrigerator. A port aft sunpad adds to the entertaining footprint without encroaching on the cockpit seating — a thoughtful layout that keeps guests comfortable without sacrificing function. A wireless Yacht Controller allows docking control from anywhere on the boat, a significant practical upgrade that experienced owners appreciate immediately.
Wide side decks and a pantograph door make foredeck access easy — useful both for handling lines at the dock and for communicating with those on the dock. The large foredeck provides a comfortable gathering area, and a bow sunpad rounds out the forward entertaining space.
Salon & Helm
The collapsing salon doors open the cockpit and salon into one continuous space. Inside, a large U-shaped sofa anchors the space, with an electric high-low coffee table that converts effortlessly from casual lounge to formal dining. Port side opposing-facing seating with a high-low TV behind it creates a secondary lounge area. A large overhead sunroof floods the salon with natural light when open, and an electric port-side opening window works in tandem with the sliding salon doors to transform the entire space into an open-air environment — a feature that genuinely changes how the boat feels on a beautiful day. A forward port-side C-shaped settee allows multiple passengers to face forward underway, keeping guests engaged with what's ahead.
The helm has been significantly upgraded with a custom elevated electronics pod that creates additional room for a comprehensive Garmin suite — three chartplotters, radar, sounder, autopilot, VHF, and GRID controller. Two helm seats with custom elongated armrests keep the captain and co-pilot comfortable on longer passages. The overall helm presentation is clean, modern, and a notable departure from the original 2006 factory fit.
Below Deck
The lower deck accommodates six guests across three staterooms — a full-beam aft master, a wide forward VIP, and a port-side bunk cabin. Each stateroom has its own dedicated head, including a day head that doubles as the guest cabin ensuite, making sleeping six genuinely comfortable rather than just technically possible. The galley is larger than most boats in this class and equipped with a newer refrigerator/freezer, cooktop, microwave, and double sink — all the amenities of home in a space that actually has room to use them.
The engine room reflects the same ownership philosophy as the rest of the boat — well lit, freshly insulated, with upgraded plumbing and a mechanical standard that looks and feels significantly newer than 2006. For a buyer who appreciates the value of buying right, this is a boat that rewards the inspection.
